my saddle bag has a hole cut for 6x9 i want up grade to 8" would plastic ring work for me

Steven, The plastic Ring is for Retrofit Applications with Hard-to-Access Ceilings, not sure it would work on saddlebags. I will email you over more information to help make a decision and contact number for the manufacturer.
