Twelve inch driver and grille assembly for high energy, high ceiling installations such as clubs, bars, restaurants, transportation terminals, concourses, ballrooms, and convention center exhibit floors where plenum space is limited.

• Driver (12P150): 12 inch 8ohm with robust motor structure featuring 38oz. magnet and 2 in. voice coil wound on Kapton former. The compression driver tweeter is coaxially mounted behind the woofer and provides increased power handling with greater efficiency than a conventional dome tweeter. A built-in crossover network with a third order high-pass and second order low pass filter accomplishes proper frequency division between the two drivers. Frequency response is 40Hz-20kHz (±6dB) with 96.5dB sensitivity (avg. SPL). Max SPL 118.3dB (calculated value 1M @driver power rating). Dispersion 70 degrees conical @2000Hz octave -6dB. Stamped 18-gauge steel frame with corrosion resistant black electrocoat finish.

• UL Listed for General Signaling (UL1480) and rated for use in plenum space (UL2043) only when used with approved backbox (see below).

The assembly shall be Lowell Model No. WB12-12P150, which shall include a driver of the coaxial compression type having electrically independent high and low frequency transducers. The low frequency section shall have a 12 in. dia. cone and the high frequency section shall be a compression driver tweeter. A built-in electrical crossover network shall be employed to accomplish the proper frequency division between the two drivers. Crossover shall be at 2500 Hz with a third order high-pass filter and a second order lowpass filter. Driver frequency response shall be 40Hz-20kHz (±6dB) with 96.5dB sensitivity (avg. SPL). Max SPL shall be 118.3dB (calculated value 1M@driver power rating). Dispersion shall be 70 degrees conical @2000Hz octave (-6dB). Power rating shall be 150W RMS. The low frequency voice coil shall have a 2 in. dia. and operate in a magnetic field derived from a strontium ferrite (ceramic) magnet with 38 oz. nominal weight. The high frequency voice coil shall have 1 in. dia. and operate in a magnetic field derived from a ceramic magnet with 7.7 oz. nominal weight. Voice coil impedance shall be 8 ohms. The driver shall have a round, structurally reinforced stamped 18-ga. steel frame and overall depth shall not exceed 7.13". External metal woofer parts shall be black electro-coated to resist rust and corrosion. The driver shall be mounted to a two-piece perforated steel grille with white powder epoxy finish. It shall measure 17.25 in. dia. and mount with four 8-32 x 1.5 in. white screws. The assembly shall be UL Listed (UL 1480 General Signaling) when used with the approved backbox (Lowell Model No. ULXCP1210-TM100) which shall feature an internally mounted 70V/100W transformer. The backbox shall be ordered separately.
